How RoamingPigs builds, checks and ships small sites.

This is the engineering record of the RoamingPigs family. It lists what was built, the checks a site passes before it goes live, the standards we hold, and a dated log of what changed and what we got wrong.

Each log entry names the real commit behind it: the date, the short hash and how many lines were added and removed. The repositories are private, so the hashes are for reference only.

Headers check published

The first build of this site shipped the Headers check, a linter for HTTP response headers that runs in the browser. Its parsing and rule logic are pure functions with a test written from hand-made cases, including broken input.

Checked
The test passes, and the _headers file of this site passes its own linter.
Not checked
The linter reads pasted text. It has not been compared with the output of another header scanner.

Platform fee table, stamped with the date each rate was verified

luminacreativestudio.com now carries a table of platform fees. It covers Etsy, Gumroad and Shopify rates, each verified on 2026-10-13, and the page shows that date next to the figures.

The table lists the platform, the rates, the source and the verification date for every row.
Not checked
Rates after that date. Fees change, so a row is unverified once it is older than its stamp.
